Sir Robin Saxby cites Sensium as leading example of healthcare devices that will drive semiconductor demand

ARM founder and President of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Sir Robin Saxby has cited the Sensium as a leading example of healthcare devices that will drive the semiconductor industry in an article for the Malaysia Star.

Sir Robin, who last week was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards, predicts a surge in semiconductor demand as healthcare devices become more portable and affordable, and lifestyle devices become more pervasive.
