Toumaz presents Sensium as candidate technology to Continua Health Alliance

Toumaz has presented Sensium as a candidate technology for the Low-Power Radio Personal Area Network standard (LPR PAN) to a meeting of the Wireless Group from the Continua Health Alliance.

Toumaz’s Richard McPartland made the presentation – including a demonstration of a Sensium wireless body monitoring system operating on a single thin flexible 1.5 volt battery – on Wednesday 25th March 2009, as part of the Continua Spring Summit in Barcelona.

The Continua Health Alliance is a collaborative industry organisation dedicated to defining technology standards for healthcare.
