Sensium at Fujitsu European Technology Forum 2009

Last week, Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe Ltd. (FLE), used a fully-operational Sensium™ Life Pebble wireless body monitoring system from Toumaz Technology Ltd. UK, to demonstrate a "Unified Sensing Platform for Healthcare" concept technology at the Fujitsu European Technology Forum 2009 (16th-17th September, London, UK). The demonstration was in line with Fujitsu's Human-Centric Computing theme, which is focused on using real-world information, and intelligence gathered from sensors, to respond to people's real situations and improve their quality of life.

Now in its fourth year, the Fujitsu European Technology Forum offers a glimpse into the influential technologies of the future that are developed by Fujitsu's global laboratories. The two-day, invitation-only event comprised an interactive seminar programme plus state-of-the-art technology demonstrations.

The theme for this year's event was "Contributing to Business Growth", underlining a focus on technologies and innovations that promote a green, sustainable, and networked society and are aligned with the real-world business objectives of improving efficiencies and reducing costs.
