Sensium™ Life Pebble

The Sensium Life Pebble TZ203082 is an ultra small size vital signs monitor optimized for ambulatory conditions which continuously monitors accurate electrically derived heart rate, physical activity (3 axis accelerometer) and skin temperature and streams the data using a wireless datalink over a short range ( ~5m) to a Sensium USB network adapter. The acquired clinical quality data is ready for incorporation into an electronic health record. A SensiumSoft development kit is also available and enables easy integration into larger systems. The Sensium Life Pebble module has been awarded a CE mark and is now available in the EU and all other countries that have adopted the CE standard for certified medical devices.

Simple to use and robust in operation, the Life Pebble provides a powerful and flexible solution for physiological monitoring, including clinical trials, continuous vital sign studies, rehabilitation and assisted living programmes. A version of the Life Pebble for use in professional sports applications is in prototype.

The Life Pebble TZ203082 uses Toumaz Technology’s unique Sensium System on Chip platform to enable continuous data capture, local processing and wireless transmission at ultra low power.
